BED Consultations

Nancy Spahr, Director of Cleansing Waters, was introduced to Donna Gates, in the summer of 2003 at the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists (I-ACT) convention. She immediately saw the value of the addition of cultured foods in her own diet, and attended her first Certified Body Ecology Training in October 2003 in Alexandria, Virginia. At this workshop, Nancy gained a deeper understanding of the seven principles and superfoods that make up the essence and healing  power of the Body Ecology DietTM. She began to introduce this information to her clients during colonic sessions, who experienced similar benefits.

Nancy furthered her knowledge of the workings of the inner ecosystem by attending a BED workshop in Atlanta, Georgia in August 2005 and Malibu, CA in April 2006. Meanwhile, she received her Natural Health Practitioner Certification (CNHP).

Nancy's Coaching sessions begin with a health questionnaire, identifying the client's greatest needs, answering questions, and setting up a plan for introducing new foods while eliminating the toxic foods that are may be causing bodily stress.  An 8-page handout is given to the client as a guideline.  The 1 - 11/2 hour session ends with a 15-minute shopping experience at Cleansing Waters to identify the foods and nutritional supplements recommended during the session.

Coaching sessions are $75 per hour. BED clients are extended a 10% discount on products the day of their appointments. Nancy is also available for private cultured food prep instruction in your home at the same rate as the consultation.

Cultured Vegetable and Young Coconut Kefir classes are offered every other month.  Check the EVENTS page for upcoming classes.  The monthly CW Support Group will offer topics pertinent to body ecology as well.
