Cilantro Chutney
This is like ketchup in India. It is always on the table with every meal. Great with pates, crackers, vegetables, garbanzos or ? I made some sushi rolls with sunflower pate and topped the sushi pieces with the chutney. It was awesome.

· 1 cup Cilantro
· 1 tablespoon Nuts or Seeds of your choice
· 2 tablespoons Lemon or lime juice
· 1 teaspoon agave syrup or other sweetener
· 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger
· Green Chile like Serrano or Jalapeno
· Celtic or Sea Salt to taste

Blend all ingredients with just enough water to blend. The consistency should be thick, not runny so add the water a little at a time and pulse. Go easy on the sweetener, you don’t want it sweet, just enough to balance the flavors. You can substitute a piece of fresh coconut for the nuts.

Makes 1 1/2 cups
